Project born in 2010 and is a forerunner of return of funk style (actual nudisco, jackin house/club house). Funkatomic start activity when house music was far away from sounds which now are current market dance.
The first track of Funkatomic -“Livin It Up” was released by Smilax Publishing label and was promoted with high quality, extraordinary and eye-catching video (link). Track was remixed by Claudio Caccini and sung by Danny Losito – the ex-voice of Doubl Dee – author of popular hit of the 90s entitled “Found Love” (500,000 copies sold worldwide).
Song receives considerable support in Italy as well as an abroad and is included in various compilations of international reputations .
Funkatomic will be re-propose in early 2016 with a new outfit but always with the features that distinguishes the funk taste of actual nudisco style.
